There is a catch at the moment though. Right now, there is only a single black upper available to iD. You get to change up key detailing on the boot, like the heel area, swoosh colors and laces. There are still a lot of ways to create something extra flashy and very different to what any other players will be wearing.

You can play around with the Superfly from footy-headlines.com.

If you want to see how the silo looks in other colors, you can customize the Academy version. This is the low tier option available in the series, retailing for $110 and featuring much less tech heavy pieces. From the mid-cut collar to the upper material, everything is more economical and provides a basic playing experience.

If you are a fan of creating your own unique boot designs, Nike has added the Nike Mercurial Superfly V FG - Racer Blue-Bright Citrus-Volt to its Nike iD service. This allows players the opportunity to add their own inspirational spin on the latest speed boot silo.
